Winter Calendar
February 8-10, 2008 Bend Winterfest in Downtown Bend.
This is the premier winter carnival in Oregon and the 8th annual event. We are particularly pleased to announce that Hell's Belles, the female ACDC cover band, will be performing, live! There will be ice carving exhibitions, a polar bear plunge in the Deschutes, races at Mt. Bachelor, live music, ice skating and the Winterfest Marketplace (great shopping from independent craftspeople and artists).
February 10-17, 2008: Ski for Light, a weeklong cross-country ski event pairing blind skiers with trained, experienced, sighted guides who describe the trail and terrain. Call (612) 827-3232 for more info or go to www.sfl.org.
April 4, 2008 at 5:00 pm: Spring Art Hop, Downtown Bend, Free.
In addition to the monthly Artwalk (first friday evening of each month) we have two "art hops" a year which tend to be bigger and better. More wine, more food, more diversity of art and more people. These events are great fun.
