Now Available: Bedrock Bungalows, Stylish Efficiency Bungalows for the Traveler on a Budget! Located in the heart of the Historic District, in Downtown Bend. One bedroom bungalows with full kitchens accommodating up to four people starting at $125 a night! 1950s style kitchens, modern sofas, flat-screened TV, wireless, vintage furnishings. Some units with private, fenced yards and patios. Eco and pet friendly!
The Bedrock Bungalows are a collection of four 1920s craftsman attached bungalows, separated by sound-proof brick walls, each with a private entrance, yard, and panoramic views of the Historic District. Each unit has a spacious, light-filled living room with flat screen television and modern sleeper sofa. Additional details include original fir floors, clever vintage furnishings and authentic 1940s movie and magazine advertising. Through the living room is the private bedroom with attached closet. Off the living room is the kitchen and dining area, which accesses the modern bathroom and back patio. Each kitchen includes a dining area for four with views to the backyard, refrigerator, stove, over. The Bedrock Bungalows do not have dishwashers or microwaves making the "vintage" vibe ever so authentic. Each house also has free local calls (on vintage "princess" phones), wifi, gas heat and central air conditioning, as well as outdoor seating and gas grills. Pets are welcome and the units come stocked with information detailing local dog walks as well as biodegradable waste bags. We use exclusively environmentally friendly products to clean the bungalows and you'll find a selection of items in the units, designed to make your stay more efficient and low-impact. Each visitor is welcomed with a gift pack which includes free passes to McMenamins Old St. Francis Turkish Soaking Pool and Movie Theatre. Bedrock Bungalows incorporates the best of the vacation home (a private home with full kitchen and yard, parking right out front) with the ease of a hotel. All units are smoke free.
$125-150/night, $40 cleaning fee, 10% City of Bend lodging tax; $20 pet fee (per pet, per stay). Holiday rates vary.
