Pets at Lavabelles
We pride ourselves on being pet friendly, all our houses, all the time, and have been since our inception in 2006. Bend is an extremely welcoming town for folks with dogs. Many downtown businesses welcome pets, have water bowls in or outside their establishment, and support some of the great local resources for recreating dogs, most notably DogPac.org. Beginning in 2012 we will provide organic dog treats in all the home, in addition to bio bags and pet specific "packages" (which include blankets and coverings for the furniture, dog bowls, and toys). All of the homes have extensive information on recreating with your dog - from the neighborhood walk to the epic Old Growth trails at Swampy. And, oh yeah, kids are welcome too. We've got some games and stuff for them.

All repeat pet visitors are enrolled in this completely paper-free/email-free exclusive club. The benefits include waived pet fees, biodegradable waste bags at all houses, and the knowledge that you are welcome at any house, regardless of breed, size or whether you were the dog that clawed up the wood baseboard while your parents were drinking wine.

All rentals include tickets to McMenamins Turkish Soaking Pool or their brew-and-view Movie Theatre. The good folks at McMenamins have extended this special arrangement - what great neighbors! Towels for the Turkish Pool as well as Movie Schedules will be available in each house. The tickets will be placed inside your complimentary gift basket and the quantity will reflect the maximum occupancy of the house, except at the Bungalows where we give two passes per stay.

Lavabelles is a member of the newly opened Downtown Athletic Club, located nearby at Franklin and Bond St. We offer passes to the DAC for just $10 per person, per visit. Please contact Cara at (541) 497-3242 to get instructions on using the club.
